Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving, celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which has become one of the most anticipated global charitable events of the year. It’s a time when people all over the world come together to donate their time, resources, and support to causes that matter most to them.

Giving Tuesday isn’t just another charitable day; it’s a collective movement that brings people together with a shared sense of purpose.
For Brighter Communities Worldwide and many other charities around the world, Giving Tuesday is a critical fundraising opportunity. Donations made on this day help us to continue our life changing work in Kenya. This year, our campaign will raise funds to help build resilience, provide sustainable food, clean water, better health and a secure future for vulnerable communities. The families we work with in Kenya rely on what they grow to feed their families. The primary source of income are cash crops including maize, coffee and tea. When
floods or drought destroy crops, families go hungry. These already vulnerable households are on the front line of the climate crisis, struggling with limited resources. With your help, this project will enable communities to adapt to climate change. Your donation will support nutritious kitchen gardens, protect water sources, plant purposeful trees, and enable diversified livelihoods through business start-up resources and education. With your help we will install smokeless stoves to reduce wood use, and; create a healthier homestead. We will address inequities through our sexual reproductive health program.
